Incomplete Grade

The grade of Incomplete is given when a student does not complete the required course work, but in the opinion of the instructor, is able to fulfill the remaining requirements without additional class time. Course requirements must be completed satisfactorily within the next semester (including the summer semester) or the “I” grade automatically becomes an “F” unless officially extended for one semester by the instructor.  Extending the deadline for completion for an additional semester also requires approval from the Vice President of Curriculum.  If the “I” grade becomes an “F”, the student would need to register to retake the course.
